For my card, I chose to use the Lita image, what a cutie - I cut a few flowers from the patterned paper, put them on pop-dots and added stickles.

SCF #93 - Fabric / Stitching

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog.  It's great to be back into crafting after a short hiatus. I had the pleasure of spending this past weekend with the "Bama Scrappers" in Mobile, Alabama and we all had a blast!! If you ever get the chance to go, you've got to do it.  These ladies put on a great crop! It was so much fun!

If you haven't visited the Squigglefly store lately, you're missing out. We have had several new artist join the Squigglefly family over the last couple of weeks and the store is bursting with great new images so buzz on over and check it out. OK, on to this week's Squigglefly challenge ~

Chelsea - our fearless leader,  is challenging you to use fabric and stitching in your projects - how fun is that!!
so I chose to use a new image by Diane Carubia called "How Do You Do Suzie". I added a bit of  "wonky" stitching around the background papers and also around the image, the bow behind the flower is a strip of muslin fabric that I tattered and sprayed with Sunflower Glimmer Mist, and then I aded a piece of vintage lace.

Notice the background paper behind the image?  I photocopied a lace doily, kinda cool, huh?

Thanks for stopping by again, and don't forget to finish the inside and backside of your cards!  Have a happy scrappy day~
