Christmas Tri-Shutter Card

Hello and Happy Wednesday! Just a quickie post tonight of my Vintage Christmas Tri-Shutter Card.

I've used an awesome paper line but of course I don't know me, I have no idea who makes it. (sorry, I'm so bad about that) The vintage Santa image is a freebie downloaded from the internet, matted on a top note frame, stickles, ribbons, rhinestones and prima flowers that I "fuzzied-up".

Thanks for peeking in again, Have a Happy Scrappy Thanksgiving Day!

Give Thanks Banner & Card

Hello everyone!

Tonight I'm sharing with you a "Give Thanks" banner I made using my very favorite, the "Storybook" Cricut Cartridge.

I've entered my project in the following challenges:

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #37 - Thankful For
Shirley's 2 Girls Challege #83 - Leaves
My Sheri Crafts Challenge #32 - Harvest/Thanksgiving

Each of the background pieces (what are they called? lol) were cut at 4" the letters and the letter shadows were cut at 3". All printed paper is from Cosmo Cricket.

Check out this little cutie. The paper again is Cosmo Cricket to match the banner. The card is a cut file I downloaded from the very talented Robin from Robin's Creative Cottage. It's a bit smaller than I would have preferred, so next time I will enlarge but I think it's a great little card.

Thanks for peeking in again, have a Happy Scrappy Day!

Warm Winter Wishes & A Double Pocket

Somebody's getting into the Christmas spirit a bit early this year! No, not really, just having lots of fun making Christmas Cards.

Ok, as promised I'm posting two Christmas Cards today.
The first one is "Warm Winter Wishes" and I've embossed the background with a cuttlebug folder (I don't know the name of it, I'm so so bad with brands/names.) and inked with white ink pad to make it look frosty. The snowflakes are cuts from the cricut Christmas Noel (?) cartridge 3 sizes/styles layered and I added stickles. Wish I could remember the name of the printed paper I used so I get buy more, I love it! Check out the snowmen gift tag. Yep, that's right a gift tag. I bought a huge package of elegant - so they called it - gift tags from Sam's Club after Christmas last year and thought they would be great for cards. Ya' gotta luv a bargain!

I've entered my card in the Challenge #24 - Christmas Cards over at Cards for Men.

Finished it off with a bit of baker's twine and a button.

And the second card for today is a Double Pocket card. This one is super easy and fun to make. You can find the tutorial at Meredith Scraps under the video tab. While you're there check out all of her tutorials and browse around for a while, she is incredibly talented with lots of great ideas!!

Christmas Ornament Card

Hello again, hope everyone is having a great weekend!
I know, I know I said I would be posting a Christmas card everyday for a couple of weeks but yesterday I was busy celebrating my uh... 39th, yeah 39th birthday and being pampered and spoiled by my awesome fiance. So I'll make it up tomorrow by posting 2 cards.

Here is my "Christmas Ornament" Card I made using the Christmas Noel Cricut cartridge. This one was so much fun to make, I really need to use my cricut more. The paper I used from the Basic Grey "Dasher" collection. The bling in the center of the ornament is from Prima "Say it in Studs".

I'm entering my card in the following challenges:

Meredith Scraps - Christmas Card Challenge

The Creative Cottage Challenge#
27 Someone special at Christmas
Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club Challenge #44 - Christmas Anything Goes
Digistamps4Joy Challenge #6 - Inspired by Christmas/Holiday

I used pop dots between the layers to give it more demension, and added glitter and pearls.

Finished off the inside with MS punched branches and a couple of pearls.

Thanks for peeking in, come back tomorrow I'll have 2 cards to share with you.
Have a Happy Scrappy Day!
