Birthday Wishes

Today's card was made using MM printed papers and MM ribbon. I've embellished with E. prima flowers, vintage lace and Dew Drops. The Holly Hobbie image is a freebie downloaded from the internet.

All edges have been machine stitched and inked with Tim Holtz walnut stain ink.

The butterfly is a cut from the Indie Art Cricut Cartridge, stamped, inked and a bit of Stickles glitter on the edge of the wings.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at today's card. Have a Happy Scrappy Day!

Vintage Inspired Thanksgiving

Two blog posts in one day~ Whoo-Hoo!!
I just couldn't resist sharing this Vintage Inspired Thanksgiving Card with you all. These warm colors have me anxious for the fall weather.
I've distressed, inked and machine stitched the edges, and embellished with satin ribbon, jute twine, prima flowers and a beautiful vintage image.
Thanks for stopping by, have a Happy Scrappy Day!

Teddy Bear Birthday

Why do I have soooooo much stuff in my stash?? Is it just me or does everyone do this? I buy all the newest supplies but by the time I get around to using it, it's old! Who knows how old this paper collection is but it works well with the Holly Hobbie image of the little girl and her teddy bear.
On this card I've used vintage lace trim, ribbon, and baker's twine, all the edges have been inked with Tim Holtz walnut stain and machine stitched. The image was colored with water color pencils.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek. Have a happy scrappy day!

Welcome Little One

I want to share a with you a very simple, card I created to match the baby Kruz word album. The "clean lines" is usually not my style but I think it turned out nice, and a good use of left over scraps. I have such a hard time throwing away all those little pieces!

Thanks for peeking and don't forget to leave me some luv.

Something Old

I've been determined to use some of the really old supplies that I just can't seem to weed out. (Note to self -let it go) This paper has been in my stash since I started scrapping in 2003 and the lace is truly vintage from an estate sale. Can you say "jackpot find"?

I've entered this card in the Corrosive Challenge Blog. Check it out
And also the Alphabet Challenge Blog: U is for unused. Check it out here.

More Cards

OK, I really need to start posting more regurly, but I would rather spend my time being creative!

Baby Kruz's Word Album

I'm soooo loving the colors of this album! Don't think I would have chosen these colors for a baby nursery but it's beautiful, and love the name Kruz for a little girl.
