1st Family Christmas

Hello and Merry Christmas Eve! I promise, this will be my last Christmas post.
Just wanted to share a quick and easy project with you. I made this for my niece for Christmas, and I really like the way it turned out.
I used an 8X10 canvas and covered it with printed paper from the Basic Grey "Dasher" collection. The top note mats, snowflake and the numbers are cut from the "Storybook" cricut cartridge, added a bit of ribbon, flowers, brad, pearls and MS silver glitter - My new fave product, this stuff is like silk!! Luv it!

Thanks for looking, have a very Merry Christmas!

Happy Holidays and Happy Birthday

Hello and Happy Wednesday! I want to wish my beautiful Mother a Very Happy Birthday! I love you, mother.

Now, on to my card. This one is super cute and super simple. Other than the kraft cardstock for the base I used a piece of double sided cardstock, a stamped image, a Tim Holtz ticket, baker's twine and a couple of Cricut cut snowflakes, and a snowflake button. Easy peasy!

Close up of the frosty snowflake button.

And you know me, I just have to finish the inside, backside and coordinating envelope.

Thanks for peeking in, have a Happy Scrappy Day!

So here’s a really cute card I made using “Sarah in Love” from Squigglfly.  I also used a bit of tulle, ribbon, ric-rac trim, snowflakes cut from the Cricut Christmas Noel cartridge, rhinestones and a jingle bell. I think it turned out super cute, let me know what you think.

I'm entering my card in the following challenges:

Did you know that Squigglefly has a rewards program?  When you sign up for Squigglefly rewards it keeps track of your purchases and for every $15.00 you spend you earn a free image! You can redeem the free image whenever you want.  And as if that wasn’t already enough…Did you know that with the Squigglefly is the only company that doesn't let your download links expire?  This is important because if your computer crashes and you lose your images, you can contact Squigglefly with your e-mail address and they can send your download links to you so you can retrieve your images!  How cool is that?

So buzz on over to the Squigglefly store and pick up a couple of new images for your last minute Christmas creations, and if you’re looking for inspiration here is a list of the very talented Squigglefly Design Team for 2011. They have some great ideas to share with you.

Merry Christmas Banner

Hello everyone and happy Sunday, it's been a lazy weekend but a great chance to finish up some Christmas projects.

Just a quick post tonight. I want to share my "Merry Christmas Banner" with you. The printed paper is from My Mind's Eye Sweet Dreams Collection. All pieces including the letters for the banner are cut at 4"  using the Cricut Storybook Cartridge. I've also used prima flowers, rhinestones, ribbon, and jute twine. The flowers on the end pieces are made with pages from an old recipe book.

Thanks for peeking, have a Happy Scrappy Day!
